Pastor Timothy W. Brown

Pastor Timothy W. Brown, the son of George and Peggy Brown, was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 18, 1965. Pastor Brown grew up on the Eastside of Indianapolis, IN attending and graduating from Broad Ripple H.S. in 1983. After graduating high school he matriculated at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis for three and a half years before he joined the United States Army in 1987 to serve his country. Pastor Brown retired in November 2008 with 21 years of service.

In 1994 while serving in the Federal Republic of Germany, Pastor Brown heard God and answered to a higher call of service in Him. On September 8, 1995, Pastor Timothy W. Brown was licensed in ministry to preach in the Church of God in Christ. In July of 1997, Pastor Timothy W. Brown was ordained by the late Bishop A. T. Moore in Kentucky First Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. While serving under the pastorate of Jurisdictional prelate Bishop Dwight L. Haygood, Elder Brown, again, answered God's call to a higher level in ministry to establish Greater Dimensions Community Fellowship Church of God in Christ as it pastor and founder in 2010.

Pastor Timothy W. Brown has served the Church in various capacities at the Jurisdictional, District, and local levels. Pastor Timothy W. Brown currently serves as the vice-chairman and dean of candidates for Kentucky First Jurisdiction Ordination Board. Pastor Brown obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies from American Military University, and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.
